A new venue that puts Belton back on the map
Belton and Browston Sport and Leasure Centre is now available for Booking. The Venue was finished in the second quarter of the year and was opened by the Mayor and the Chairman of the Parish Council Mr John Rudrum. The work started in May 2009 after the
scheme was awarded over £234,000 grant from the Football Foundation. The Landfill Communities Fund, which is administered by the Waste Recycling Environmental (WREN) organisation, contributed £50,000 towards the venue, while the remainder of funding came from Great Yarmouth Borough Council, BBPC and BYFC.
The sports and leasure centre has become the new home of Bohemians Youth Football Club (BYFC), and is used by the Belton youth club.
