Keeping gardens clean, tidy and looking super can be really difficult, especially with the hectic lifestyles and numerous commitments we all have these days. To help us with over 50 young people have agreed to volunteer their time to support local residents clear their gardens! This is part of the big summer clean which is happening across Great Yarmouth.
On Tuesday, 9th and Thursday 11th August, local youngsters along with a group young people from Newday Youth Camp and the One Big Summer, lead by youth workers from Kickz, Youthnet and The Den will be joining together to help support any Southtown resident who would like a hand to help get their front garden look great for summer.
So, if you would like a young pair of hands to help you in your garden - free of charge, please contact Nick Cowan at the Kings Centre (next to haven vets) who will pop round to have a chat with you about how the group can help.
Please note that if you would like fences painted or flowers planted, then you will need to provide the paints, brushes and plants, but the young people will be more than happy help you do the work.
Nick can be contacted by email on nick.cowan@kings-church.net or ring him on 01493 442861.
Before the big summer clean lets clear those gardens!
