A low-cost Family Funday on August the 29th at Shrublands Youth and Adult Center off Magdalen Way. The opening times are 11 AM and we finish off at 3 PM.
The event is to bring all local people together for a fun and information sharing day.
There will be an opportunity to see how the groups have spent their money allocated through the local voting process
Learn about what is happening locally and have some fun with friends and neighbours.
There are plenty of fun activities for all the family. Ranging from Guess how many sweets in the jar, play your cards right, treasure hunt, face painting, bushtucker trial, basketball, pairing the buttons and a tombola. To mention but a few.
There will be food provided by Arthritis club and The bridge.
The event is being organised by MESH for Magdalen, Elmhurst court and Shrublands. MESH primarily covers those three main estates, but everyone is welcome. MESH is a Neighbourhood Management programme.
There will be people there representing their community group, organisation and agencies. You can expect to see.
Also there are various demonstrations through out the day.
Please come and support your local neighbourhoods and voice your opinions because your voice does make a difference, with actions come results.
