Many visitors and natives of Gorleston will have noticed the work that has commenced on the Sea front Cafe. Hueey! It is being modernised, and will soon provide us with better facilities than we have ever seen at this lovely beach. The new owner, Jay, intends to make this a great place to come and eat/drink and enjoy the sands in front. He is ploughing lots of funds into it, and we must support him and his family who are there behind him. For the moment snacks are available from their mobile canteen, but as it wasn't available before now the work has to take place now, as the season starts. I have always longed for a good restaurant with checked tablecloths and plates of pasta and steak on offer. I hope this will be it. And what a welcome it must be also for those who come from the Beccles and Bungay areas for their day out. Watch for news
