Norfolk RCC and Great Yarmouth

If you live in any of the parishes (not Great Yarmouth or Gorleston) as illustrated in Norfolk County Council’s “Parishes in Great Yarmouth” map then we are able to assist you and your communities in a variety of different ways.
Norfolk RCC is currently undertaking three different roles covering the 21 rural parishes of Great Yarmouth – meet the team below,

Left to Right; Sarah McPherson, Sue Penlington and Tania Fiddy

Sarah McPherson is the Great Yarmouth Rural Outreach Officer working under the Working Neighbourhoods Fund:
Sarah works with economically inactive individuals living in the rural parishes of Great Yarmouth looking to get back into volunteering/training or employment.  Sarah can provide one to one support to help rural residents access services offered by other WNF partners.  Sarah can be emailed on sarah@norfolkrcc.org.uk

Sue Penlington is the Great Yarmouth Access4life Officer
Sue aims to look at issues surrounding access to key local services by consulting with local communities and helping them to develop sustainable solutions.  The publication and distribution of a survey will form the main bulk of the consultation process with the development of sustainable schemes occurring from September 2010.  Sue can be emailed on susan@norfolkrcc.org.uk
