The Borough of Great Yarmouth stretches for 15 miles along the coast and up to 9 miles inland, encompassing some beautiful Norfolk countryside.
The hustle, bustle and razzmatazz of Great Yarmouth seafront and town centre is offset with the small villages, towns and hamlets that can be found in the area immediately surrounding one of the UK's most popular seaside resorts.
To the north-west of the Borough, the Trinity Broads are a peaceful reminder of all that the Norfolk Broads have to offer, surrounded by small villages, woodland and countryside dotted with traditional windmills. The Borough is also home to two graceful Wind Farms, one inland and the other off shore.
All along the coastline, seaside villages hug the wide sandy beaches, perfect for lazing away on a summers day or for a brisk stroll in winter.
The River Bure winds its way across the Borough, eventually arriving at Breydon Water where it meets the River Yare and flows out through the busy port to the sea.
To the south, the popular seaside town of Gorleston-on-Sea with cliff top views and its beautiful bay is a firm favourite with locals and visitors.
