About: The Community Mental Health Action Group was formed in February 2007. Initiated by the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Health Trainers, it brought together many of the organisations working with people who were experiencing mental health difficulties.
The group was open to any organisation that could benefit from becoming a member, plus mental health service users and carers.
The groups aim is to improve the service provided in the community by identifying gaps, encouraging partnership working and where the need was identified, creating new projects. The first of these projects to launch is the Community Skills Swap (see their own 96k pages), and currently we are looking for people to volunteer as Wellbeing Workers.
Have a look through the groups on this page to see if you want to get involved.
