96k Volunteer Community Reporters are going from strength to strength. Not only are our numbers increasing in the Borough but we are strengthening our partnership with Peoples Voice Media , a community development organisation of 15 years standing based in Manchester who now works with a network of organisations and groups across the UK and beyond (check out the content from the Parisian Reporters on the Community Reporter website!). PVM have around 800 Community Reporters as part of the UK /Europe wide network and offer on-going support and opportunity to members, including our reporters in Great Yarmouth.
Some of the benefits of a national network include strength in numbers, awareness of other people's issues, links forged between groups and promotion of a truly empowering 'grassroots' movement.
